Anastasia Chatzidimitriou

Dr. Anastasia Chatzidimitriou is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Applied Biosciences. She studied Biology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and holds a PhD in Immunogenetics of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL, 2006). Since January 2018, she is a Senior Researcher in INAB/CERTH at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB/CERTH) where she continues her research activities on the field of immunobiology and genomics applying NGS methodologies for the detection of new biomarkers. She is responsible for the biobank at INAB, which is a node within BBMRI-ERIC (Biobanking and BioMolecular resources Research Infrastructure - European Research Infrastructure Consortium). Since 2016 she is responsible for the management of Real World Evidence and the Accreditation of diagnostics tests in the European Research Initiative on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, a working group of the European Hematology Association. Currently, she supervises 5 PhD students and 2 MsC students. Main research focus: High-throughput immunogenetics analysis for unique scenarios of clinical value in immunology.
