The Health Psychology Team of INAB|CERTH, participated for the second consecutive year in the Annual Conference of the European Hematology Association - EHA2022 Congress, on 9-17 June 2022, in Vienna.
The team attended all the Conference proceedings, while it also delivered a training session to hematologists from around the world, on " Embracing Challenging Emotions".
The general theme of the training was about the way doctors can support patients when they face difficulties in managing their emotions. The training was conducted through video, and includes relevant theories and models, practical advice, excerpts from interviews and role-plays between doctors and patients.
Consistent in our timeless choice to collaborate with the community and those directly involved, we would like to warmly thank the Theater Group of the Association of Cancer Patients of Macedonia - Thrace, for its contribution to the development of the educational material.
