Styliani-Christina Fragkouli holds a B.Sc. in Physics and an M.Sc. in Digital Media and Computational Intelligence, both obtained from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at the University of Athens (UoA). Her doctoral studies focus on the field of bioinformatics, specifically on the intersection of genetics and computational methods. In addition to her doctoral studies, she is also a member of the Bioinformatics lab at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB) within the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) under the supervision of Dr. Psomopoulos. Stella’s research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including applications of artificial intelligence in various domains, variant calling methods for detetcting genetic lesions, mathematical modeling of biological systems and the generation of synthetic biomedical data.
