George Gavriilidis is a pharmacologist and postdoctoral researcher in the Bioinformatics Laboratory, where he collaborates with researcher Fotis Psomopoulos. His current research interests include Computational Pharmacology and Systems Biology, with a focus on the analysis of single-cell multi-omics/spatial multi-omics data, as well as the correlation of omics data with clinical data to discover new molecular targets, biomarkers, and mechanisms of pathophysiology in multifactorial diseases. He is a member of the ELIXIR Greece / ELIXIR Europe biological information infrastructure network and participates in the ELIXIR Single-Cell Community (SCO). Additionally, he is involved in international research projects with the German university hospital Charite in Berlin, as well as with the related startup incubator Charite BIH Innovation.
