Vasileios Chouvardas is a Special Scientific and Technical Staff member of the Institute of Applied Biosciences at CERTH, the Center for Research and Technology Hellas, Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a BSc in Physics from the Department of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc/PhD from the Department of Computer Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has extensive professional and teaching experience in Computer Science and in embedded systems design. He is a certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor and certified SCADA Security Manager. His current interests include information systems security and cybersecurity in the fields of IoT and embedded systems.
