Evangelia Minga is a Special Operations Scientist in the Institute of Applied Biosciences, Center for Research and Technology Hellas (INAB|CERTH). She holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). In 2017, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Medical Informatics from AUTH and she is currently a PhD student in the field of Big data in healthcare, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH). Since 2011, Evangelia has been participating in INAB’s research programs, with main focus on the development of techniques and tools for the collection and management of biomedical data. She is responsible for the development of various database systems for the collection of data coming from patients with hematologic malignancies, in the context of multicenter studies both in Greece and internationally. Her main interests include methodology design and software development for the standardized collection of high-quality data, dealing with the challenges of interoperability, management and analysis of Real-World Data (RWD) for research purposes.
