Athanasios Roussos studied Biology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master’s degree in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling. He is a PhD candidate at the Department of Public and One Health of the University of Thessaly. His dissertation is undertaken at the Institute of Applied Biosciences, at the Centre for Research and Technology and is titled as “Dissecting intraclonal heterogeneity of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia”. His research interests are focused on investigating the immunogenetic profile of the immunoglobulin gene repertoires of B-lymphocytes and on studying the immunobiological features, as well as the clonal architecture and evolution of these cells in lymphoid malignancies.
