Dr. Kalliopi Kastampolidou is a Computer Scientist currently working as a Research Associate at the eHealth Lab of the Institute of Applied Biosciences, Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (INAB|CERTH). She holds a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in Information Technologies and Applications in the Humanities and Social Sciences and a PhD focused on quantum computing and unconventional models of computation, all obtained from Ionian University. Since joining INAB|CERTH’s eHealth Lab in 2023, she focuses on Knowledge Graphs and Machine Learning tasks and actively participates in projects such as the registry of the Human Mechanical Ventilation (HR-HMV) and smartHEALTH. Her research interests include: quantum and unconventional computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning in healthcare, semantic web technologies and healthcare informatics.
