Konstantinos Kyritsis (MSc in Biotechnology and Molecular Diagnostics) is a biologist, and he received his PhD from the Department of Pharmacy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), where he specialized in data analysis using bioinformatics methods. He works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Bioinformatics Lab of the Institute of Applied Biosciences at the National Center for Research and Technological Development Hellas (INAB|CERTH), where he combines software development and machine learning methods for the creation of new software tools and workflows. His research interests include analysis of high-throughput sequencing data, with an emphasis on the study of microbial populations.
