Stamatia Laidou is a Post-doctoral Researcher of the Institute of Applied Biosciences at CERTH, the Center for Research and Technology Hellas, Thessaloniki, Greece. She received the Diploma in Biology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), MSc in Human Genetics and her PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics. From 2023, she holds the position of the Deputy Technical Manager at the ISO15189 quality management system of the Molecular Diagnostic Unit at INAB|CERTH. Her research interests lie on precision medicine and study of pathogenic mechanisms in cancer as well as in the characterization of novel diagnostic and predictive biomarkers in patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. She is mainly oriented in performing NGS analyses and functional studies in primary cancer cells and cell lines.
