Evangelia Mouchtaropoulou is a Research Associate of the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB), of the National Center for Research and Technology (CERTH) in Thessaloniki, since 2013. She graduated from the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the International Hellenic University of Thessaloniki and has completed postgraduate studies at the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her primary research areas include Health and Nutrition, with a particular focus on genetics through omic approaches. Her extensive experience encompasses population genetics, functional foods, epidemiology, as well as hereditary and infectious diseases. In recent years, she has also played an active role in bioinformatics and the statistical analysis of omics data.
