Marina Gerousi is a biologist, postdoctoral researcher of the Institute of Applied Biosciences at CERTH, the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, Thessaloniki, Greece. She received her diploma in Biology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and she earned her master’s degree in Genetics and Genomics from the University of Barcelona. She also holds a PhD in Medicine from the Democritus University of Thrace. Since 2015, she has participated in various research projects at INAB concerning genomic applications and high throughput technologies (RNA-seq, Ribo-seq, single-cell approaches), extracellular vesicles research, as well as, immune signaling studies and flow cytometry methodologies. Her research focuses on cell signaling and microenvironmental interactions in the context of various lymphoma entities (e.g. CLL, splenic small B cell lymphomas). Since 2021, she is a certified operator of the BD FACS Aria III cell sorter and in charge of the Cell Analysis Facility at INAB.
