Elisavet Vlachonikola, Ph.D., M.Sc., is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Applied Biosciences, Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (INAB/CERTH). She is a Biologist and conducted her PhD studies at the School of Biology, Faculty of Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, supported by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) and the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) (Scholarship Code: 95062). She has been a permanent collaborator on numerous research projects at INAB/CERTH since 2015, with a special focus on the application of new, large-scale techniques in the study of immune receptors in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, monoclonal B cell lymphocytosis, and multiple myeloma. She has been investigating T cell receptor repertoire and specificity and is also actively involved in the development of bioinformatics tools for analyzing sequencing big data. Additionally, she plays an active role at the state-of-the-art early diagnosis and monitoring services that INAB/CERTH offers to cancer patients. Elisavet Vlachonikola has been a member of the European Hematology Association since 2023, the Euroclonality-NGS Working Group since 2022, the European Research Initiative on CLL since 2017, and the Hellenic Society of Hematology since 2016.
