Christina Emmanouilidou is an Agronomist with a degree from the School of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry, and Natural Environment at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She also holds a Master’s degree in Biology with a specialization in Molecular Development and Gene Regulation from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Since January 2024, she has been serving as a Special Technical Scientist at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB) under the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), investigating the effects of biostimulant application on potato crops. Her research interests include sequencing mitochondrial DNA in fish species, studying the development and life cycle of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, exploring the production of viral capsids for vaccine development in insect cells, and investigating the function of protein histone chaperones.
